Biography
Jessica Kozak is a writer/director with an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA (2019).
Her feature script THE WILD (fka WILDER THAN HER) was selected for the Bloodlist as one of the best unproduced genre scripts of 2020. It became Jessica’s debut feature as writer/director. It screened at multiple festivals, was in select theaters, and is available now on Tubi. Before that, Jessica worked on THE BOLD TYPE and co-wrote the finale episode.
She is currently a fellow for the Black List x WIF Episodic Lab 2025, shortlisted for the Academy Nicholls Fellowship 2026, and in the second round for the Sundance Episodic Lab 2026.
She lives in LA with her bad girl dog and her good boy husband.
