Biography

Nicole Taylor-Roberts is a screenwriter, director, and Emmy-nominated producer who draws from her musical and professional fine art background. Her feature writing has earned her awards and participation in workshops like the Almanack Screenwriter's October Colony. She recently made her network TV directing debut on the NBC/Dick Wolf show CHICAGO MED. She also directed GO TO BED, RAYMOND! for Season 3 of 20th Digital Studio's BITE SIZE HALLOWEEN on Hulu, which earned a spot in the New York Times' Five Horror Movies to Stream Now and the Future of Film is Female (FOFIF) Filmmaker Screening at MoMA. She was one of ten female filmmaker finalists on the HBO relaunch PROJECT GREENLIGHT: A NEW GENERATION. Taylor-Roberts' many short films have screened at major festivals worldwide. She is an alum of NBCU LAUNCH TV Directors Program | Female Forward, the Ryan Murphy Half Initiative, AFI Directing Workshop for Women, Northwestern University and Columbia University's Film MFA.
